In the 1900 census dated June 22, this family was dwelling No.140 and family no. 144. Israel could speak English but couldn'tread or write and he had a mortgaged farm. He was in the UnitedStates 27 years in June, 1900. The couple first immigratedto the U.S. in 1873. Sarah couldn't speak English in 1900.Israel and Sarah must have gone back to Canada for a time asMarie Anne was born there in 1882. Sometime between her birthand the birth of the next child, Eric/Ulrie in Dec. of 1883,the whole family moved to the Cheboygan area. In the 1910 censusthey had moved and lived on Blair St. They must have givenup the farm and moved to town. Working at the sawmill. Peterhad married Alice and was living on 1st street; he and Alicehad already 3 children and lost all of them; he worked as alaborer at the saw mill.

In the 1902 Plate book (page 25) Israel Robillard had 80 acres.
